About Marc-David van der Molen

After completing his Bachelor in Hotel Administration and his Master degree in Public Administration, Marc-David started his career at Royal Dutch/Shell Group where he held HR Advisory roles working on major restructuring of the head offices in The Hague and in London. He then moved into the financial industry (NIB Capital, ABN Amro, ING Bank) and global business services (Vistra) where he has held numerous HR and business leadership roles at both regional and global level.

He has extensive experience both as a generalist, but also as a specialist HR leader having led the global Compensation & Benefits function at ING Bank as well as the People Development & Reward area for Vistra. In addition to his HR leadership roles, Marc-David has also been a business leader having run the Financial Markets division of ING Bank in the Netherlands for about five year, including leading a major restructuring to build fit for purpose dealing room.

Throughout his career, he has managed large groups of people, including teams in different locations. As a recognized leader he has transformed HR functions into teams of leading HR practitioners and business partners. His business and P&L experience give him a strong understanding of the value of people in organizational success and his systematic thinking in connecting all the dots is one of his strong assets.

Marc-David is also a recognized international leadership coach, with a strong track record at both Executive and Senior Management level in diverse organizations. He attended the Masters programme in Executive Coaching from Ashridge/Hult International Business School.
